Reliability is a product decision: controls should stay usable through buffering, your place should survive interruptions, and audio selection should be predictable. System media behavior across locks, headsets, and cars is the last part still being refined.

Private means concrete
Your viewing life is not the product.
Rin connects directly to the Materialious and Invidious services you choose. Credentials stay in the device Keychain, diagnostics stay local unless you export them, and there is no advertising identity behind the interface.
